SPORTS
All the Universities in the city, apart from
Unisa, offer good sporting facilities. The University of Pretoria
opened the High Performance Centre in 2002. This is South
Africa’s first elite performance sports facility. The
centre is the training ground for tomorrow’s sporting
champions and the venue of choice for sports professionals
and enthusiasts alike. Furthermore there is the Pilditch Athletic
Stadium where national events are hosted regularly. Loftus
Versveld, well know rugby stadium.
